seeing as though it's not even thanksgiving yet, it only seems natural that everyone is already obsessing over the holidays and that ohmygosh christmas is basically tomorrow. right. regardless, the season of parties is upon us. here's a helpful (and oh-so-easy) recipe you can whip up in a flash for that night that you 'completely forget that you were supposed to bring an appetizer'. (it really does happen to everyone.) cheers!
here's what you need:
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 tsp. lemon zest
- 1 tsp. white truffle oil
- 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
- fresh cracked pepper and salt, to taste
- ciabatta bread for dipping!
here's how to do it:
combine all ingredients in a bowl. bake in an ovenproof serving dish or baking pan (like this cute mini skillet!) on 400 degrees for around 20 minutes, until cheese is bubbling and browning on top. warm up your ciabatta bread with a little sprinkle of olive oil and cracked sea salt, and dip in!
